This is the first picture of a train I ever took. I had just started train watching with RP.net contributor Bob Pickering (BP) a few weeks before taking this picture. After taking a friend to the airport in Orlando and visiting my grandparents in Pt. St. Lucie, we ended up in Stuart . I wasn't planning to take pictures, just watch. I almost always carry my little Canon PowerShot that I bought more for the video function than for still photography. I decided to try taking pictures, just for fun. This picture (taken on that sub-par, non-professional camera) was rejected over and over for an assortment of things. Now almost a year later I have nearly mastered the photoshop program thanks to learning from each rejection and I am happy to say that this is one of my favorite successes on RP.net :)
