Remarks & Notes
On it's first outing in 5 years, Y112 storms up grade out of Ballarat with a shuttle to Sulky, passing some of Ballarat's many statically preserved semaphore signals which have been blanked out with wooden crosses. The Y is a very significant locomotive in that it is the only 19th century steam locomotive (with the exception of a few small industrial locos) restored to operating condition in Victoria. It is also the only operating Broad Gauge (5'3") loco currently carrying the two-tone green livery.
