Remarks & Notes

The Sunsets over Ohio City and the Erie Railroad. Van Wert County has recently completed pulling up all that remains of the Erie Railroad Chicago Line. Ohio City was once served by three railroads, the Cincinnati Northern, the Cloverleaf and the Erie. It is now served by no rail service at all and the only rail remaining is what is embedded in road grade crossings.
