Remarks & Notes |
After a high-speed jaunt across southern Colorado from La Junta to Trinidad, and a low-speed traverse of Raton Pass south of Trinidad, the westbound Southwest Chief cools its heels as passengers load/unload/grab a smoke. The train has arrived about 15 minutes late, but will make up about 7-8 minutes by abbreviating this station stop.
Raton's classic depot watches over the activity. |
