| Known at one time as the "loudest engine in America" for its exceptionally sharp exhaust, former excursion star Frisco 1522 now sits entombed in the Museum of Transportation. I was fortunate enough to see this classic example of American steam technology in operation on three occasions during her excursion career, including her final runs in September 2002. |
