Cotton Belt stacks head through the downtrodden Relay Station, Relay Junction area in East St. Louis, IL, under the Veteran's Bridge, on November 4, 1986. This Long Beach CA to East Saint Louis train began in the summer of 1985 handling NYK Line containers destined for Chicago via SOO (exMILW) train 804 from Kansas City and for Cincinnati via CSX train 240 from St Louis. The SP Gunderson Maxi-I Twin-Stacks were brand new in 1986.
