Remarks & Notes

One of the many AAPRCO's cars on the Panama Limited. Built by Canadian Car & Foundry in 1928 as special compartment-library-observation lounge car 1041 Metis for service on the Canadian National's "St. Lawrence Special."

The Panama Limited was a special train of privately owned railroad cars that are part of the American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners (AAPRCO). The cars were returning to Chicago from the 2003 annual AAPRCO convention in New Orleans, LA.
