Remarks & Notes
The April 20, 1985 Dogwood Arts Festival Special ran from Chattanooga to Knoxville, a distance of approximately 111 miles each way. The power was Southern Ms Class 2-8-2 4501. Southern 4501 was built in 1911 by Baldwin and was the first mikado on the roster. She has 63 inch drivers and 27x30 Cylinders. Southern 4501 looked great as she waited in the Chattanooga Food Terminal before passenger loading.
