The March 7, 1981 Family Lines Rail System Safety Express ran round trip from Orlando, Fl to Ybor City (Tampa), a distance of about 90 miles one way. Chesapeake & Ohio 614 was the power for this trip. Chesapeake & Ohio Class J-3a 614 was built by Lima in June 1948. She has 72 inch drivers, boiler pressure of 255 lbs, 27.5 x 30 inch Cylinders and can deliver 68,300 pounds of tractive effort. She is seen here at Ybor City after her arrival. She and her train will be turned on the wye before she returns to Orlando.
