| A pair of 7E's in blue Spoornet livery sit in the yard adjacent to the passenger station at Beaufort West, waiting for their next trip to De Aar. To the right is the "Premier Classe" passenger train from Johannesburg to Cape Town. Beaufort West is a locomotive changeover point, with 3kV DC power to the south and 25kV AC to the north. |
