| Time is slowly ticking away on the clock as the last days of M&K tower are coming to a end. Here just 6 days before the closure i was invited into the tower to have a quick look around and take in what will bring to a end another era in railroading as M&K is the last operating tower on the Mountain sub and with the closure a signal upgrade will also be going on taking care of the CPL's that control the Rowlesburg area including Macmillan about 2 or 3 miles east of town. A couple days before my visit the Helpers that were assigned to M&K were moved to grafton and are now put on trains there and run east to Terra Alta. |
