| C&O #1309 was built at the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1949. Number 1309 is a true Mallet in that it is both articulated and has high and low-pressure cylinders. This piece of history is now on display in the parking lot of the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore City. |
