Remarks & Notes
SORE2 brings a trainload of limestone across Goose Lake on the way to the Empire Mine. A beautiful September day is in evidence as the broom is used to prop open the cab door and let the air in. The silver paint on the 7507's trucks show their Santa Fe heritage. The cars still bear their C&NW paint and markings. Within a year or so the ore cars would recieve WC maroon paint and SSAM reporting marks. Once CN took over, the SD45s were eliminated and now the ex-C&NW cars are gone too.
