NB Amtrak Train #22, the Texas Eagle, shoves out of the San Antonio Amtrak Station to begin its journey to Chicago, IL. The lead unit is the first heritage scheme Amtrak unit to celebrate their 40th birthday. I must admit this scheme looks good on the boxy P42. I ended up chasing this train to Temple, TX, some 5 railroad hours away (2.5 hour journey by car) and caught it a dozen times.
