I'm guessing that this view has been radically altered by the recent double-tracking project currently on-going in Abo Canyon. Here still in full Santa Fe dress, 4 axle Dash 8 7416 leads a trio in BNSF Heritage 1 (or Pumpkin) colours, comprising SD40-2s 6739 (formerly ATSF 5080), 6947 (formerly ATSF 5202) and C44-9W 1020. They are powering an eastbound stack train up the 1.25% grade under a typical desert sky of high cloud.
