Remarks & Notes
H2O Loco. At the end of the day, that's the brief notation that Conductor Millard will put in his Train Delay Report to account for this water stop at the remote Tank Creek location. Having seen to the discharge of the passengers from his train, he now consults with Engineer Colley on the plan for a series of photo run-bys that will shortly be conducted, originating at the tank and proceeding down river about 300 yards toward a waiting photo line.

The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad and the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad are all that remains of the legendary Denver & Rio Grande Western narrow gauge system. Here you'll find some of my favorites from these two beautiful railways.
