| Landfall! - A loaded covered hopper is gingerly pulled of the AML barge Fairbanks Provider. This is the first time it's hit land in nearly a week after a 1000 mile journey by sea from the barge slip in Seattle where the ARR interchanges with the UP & BNSF. The concrete decking to the right is the barge and the steel grating to the left is the slip connecting to land. Note: the photographer is a railroad employee with permission to be on the property and was wearing all required PPE while taking this photograph. |
