Remarks & Notes

Big City Train. While the Chicago area is well known for it's 3 track BNSF "Racetrack", the NEC, through the suburbs of Philadelphia, ups the ante at 4 tracks and speeds at times over 45 mph faster. Amtrak #2039 is seen here on the former PRR main through the Southern suburbs of Philly, which it shares with SEPTA.
