An odd start to our annual Winterail trip - the best consist of the weekend, but also the worst weather. However, the fog broke just long enough for the sun to illuminate BNSF eastbound train M-RICBAR1-09A's colorful lashup of Dash 9-44CW 4106, SD60M 8113, ES44DC 7405, GP39-2 2836 and GP60Ms 120 and 156 - with SD60M 8199 and Dash 9-44CW 5321 on the rear. (This train was heading from Richmond CA to Barstow CA.) Note the unusual radio antennas on the cab roof of 4106. We would encounter 4106 again two days later, this time leading a westbound headed to Vancouver, Washington.
