Remarks & Notes |
Denver & Rio Grande 2-8-0 No. 346 was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in July, 1881. As built she was numbered D&RG 406, Class 70, and was named "Cumbres". She was renumbered as D&RGW Class C-19 346 in 1924. After retirement she was sold to the Montezuma Lumber Company in 1947 and eventually ended up at the Colorado Railroad Museum in 1958. She is seen here heading a passenger train on one of the museum's operating days. |
