| CSX E511 silhouettes the C&O cantilever at Claremont deep in the New River Gorge. This scene is a classic example of railroading in the C&O with the codeline still active, the phone booth still in use, and the admirable C&O style signals standing guard. A scene increasingly rare and especially rare on the New River Subdivision with replacements in the early stages of installation. |
