| Clifton Forge bound coal loads blast through Alderson on a starry night. Below the two signal heads on the far left track and above the outline of the streaking coal cars, a shooting star can be visible. In the Appalachian Mountains where there is very little light pollution, shooting stars can be quite visible and several were documented on this night of shooting along the Alleghany Subdivision. |
