| A lone CSXT maintenance-of-way worker rides the last car of a welded rail train, keeping an eye on the quarter-mile strings of steel ahead of him. Although harkening back to the days when cabooses were found on the tail end of all trains, one suspects this open-air cab may not be the most comfortable place from which to observe a moving train trundling along on this cool autumn evening.
