Southbound GM&O "Abraham Lincoln" arriving for its station stop at Joliet, IL in 1965. Even at that late date, this was an excellent Chicago-St. Louis service (one of three daily in both directions by the GM&O). The "Abe" carried a full diner, parlor cars, and an observation.
