Remarks & Notes
Powered by the only two GP30's ever built & delivered in Canada, CPRail's Huntingdon Turn lays over at the Canada/U.S.A. Border while the crew eats lunch waiting for their return train to be built. Also rare, to supplement the two GP30's is a leased Conrail GP35 during an era when CPRail was extremely power short needing both six axle units for through trains and four axle power for locals. Operating out of CPRail's large Port Coquitlam terminal the Huntingdon Turn's primary purpose was to exchange interchange traffic with Burlington Northern across the border in Sumas, Washington.
