| Beginning with their second order of Dash 8 wide cab locomotives from GE in 1991, the Conrail Quality logo and slogan started to make its appearance on the motive power of Big Blue both new and old. From there, the Conrail “Q” would make its way to newly built freight car as well as shopped cars all the while helping to promote the railroad’s commitment to Quality for its customers. This is the second version of the Conrail Quality logo, as the first had the verbiage written on top of the Can Opener extension to the left of the “Q” instead of on top and bottom of it. |
