| Plenty O' Power waiting for its next assignment at Burlington Northern's Interbay Roundhouse locomotive facility. There are still numerous SD45's on the roster at this date and they would continue to give BN reliable service for several more years. Also noted are recently delivered GP39-2's in the 2700 number series which spelled the end for F-Units in the Pacific Northwest. There's still good variety in this scene but beware as we are just beginning to experience the massive influx of SD40-2's that would dominate BN mainline traffic for roughly the next 10 years. |
