Last Ride- This is the last ride I got to take with the big guy himself (my Dad)- Wm Beecher Sr, who has the SOO 771 in fighting form climbing Lake Hill.. A couple months later I would hire out followed by my twin brother. Dad made it thru the Milwaukee's darkest days, yet always managed to put bread on our table. He died suddenly at age 67 not long after retiring well in the CP Rail era, and is missed by an entire region of rail's, who recognize him as someone who always took time to be personal with fans. This shot was used on his eulogy, and is indicative of his spirit.
