On its first day of operation for the 2011 holiday season, the New York City Transit "Nostalgia Shopper's Special Train" is about to depart 14th Street station, as the conductor waves the "all clear" with his cap, from the rear car. A Christmas wreath and red ribbons adorn each end of the six car train, which operated on Saturdays from November 26th to December 24th, along the 6th Avenue line in Manhattan, following weekday M train service between 2nd Avenue and Queens Plaza.
