Spray paint....cardboard....anything to make sure that this locomotive is "sold and do not remove parts." The former BNSF 6964 is now owned by one of the many branches of the Helm Financial Leasing Corporation (HLLX), and calls Thief River Falls, MN as its temporary home before being claimed. On 1/3/2012, this locomotive was the trailing unit on the Minnesota Northern Warroad Local headed back via Erskine on the CP to Crookston. As of 1/12/2012, it has been at Holt, MN under the ownership of Independent Locomotive Service.
