| It's early afternoon and Deseret Power Ry's first run of the day is a little late getting finished unloading and heading back to Colorado. The train is heading upgrade here, following an unamed, dry tributary to Kennedy Wash. In another mile or so it will cross a narrow mesa and drop steeply down into Coyote Basin. On the horizon about 50-60 miles away are the 12 and 13,000 foot peaks of the Uinta Mountains. |
