An eastbound B&O manifest was dropping down Sand Patch Grade, just east of Foley, PA on Aug. 15, 1982. Many will likely note that this is the track level view below the famous shot from the overlook. If I recall correctly, because of foliage, the shot from the overlook wasn't possible then. If the lead unit seems a bit purple, it was. If one notices, the unit was set up for remote control operation and was assigned to the Toledo Ore Company (TORCO) operation.
