Having made an irresistable roar climbing the deep cutting from Liverpool to Edge Hill, GWR Castle Class 5043 'Earl of Mount Edgecumbe' prepares to emerge at Edge Hill station, the oldest continuously used station buildings still open to the public in the world (1830-present day).
