After almost four months with out railfanning because of the rainy weather, it was a nice return to railfanning, for my surprise a nice SD40-2 pulling the first train I caught throttling up leaving siding#03 with 30 hoppers loaded with iron ore heading to siding#04, where there is a pig iron plant. This was the only train to pass in the entire morning because of an under construction bridge colapse at Km 142, where they were building a second bridge due the duplication of the railroad demaging the existing bridge and interrupting traffic. It is expected the traffic returns to normal on tuesday morning, on march 20th.
