Just 5 days into Amtrak's 41st year, the 40th Anniversary Display Train arrives at Rensselaer. Amtrak's Lake Shore Limited hauled the train from Toledo, OH to Rensselaer, NY in advance of it's final display at Grand Central Terminal on Saturday May 12th. After 48's power cut off, the 40th Train moved under its own power off the Lake Shore consist and back into the shop area out of sight to the left. Amtrak sleeper 10020, Pacific Bend is immediately behind the 822.
