I can't describe how peaceful, calm, and quiet it was out here waiting for a train to show up just after midnight. No noises made by humans, only an occasional goose, or coyote. It was a spectacular early morning with a full moon popping in and out of the clouds. A westbound would shatter that peace and quiet but that was O.K. with me. Here, west of Trout Creek at Montana Rail Link's Bridge 57, the westbound BNSF coal train streaks over the Clark Fork River.
