The first Bakken crude oil test train from Dickinson, ND to be routed over BNSF, CSX & Pan Am via Rotterdam Jct. rolls across the CSX Mohawk River bridge at 5:43pm on approach to CP-RJ and the Pan Am connection. The outbound Pan Am crew was waiting in Rotterdam Jct and after a very quick crew change the 104 car train would be rolling east for the New Brunswick Southern and Saint John, New Brunswick. As a side note, CSX is preparing to replace the north side approach span on this bridge. The grey spans on the south side of the bridge were installed in the Fall of 2011. One of the new spans can be seen under construction next to the bridge. The spans are slated to be installed on July 1st. Trailing power is SD70MAC BNSF 8833, ES44AC BNSF 5778, and C44-9W BNSF 4426.
