Remarks & Notes |
Rio Grande's 'Midvale Tramp' pauses briefly on the passing siding near the B&G wye at Midvale. Before departing for Lead Mine in Bingham Canyon, the train will set out a loaded flat car at Butterfield Lumber off the wye at 7th West. The two bright red Santa Fe box cars will be spotted at Southwire, an industry that manufactured cable at milepost 4 on the Bingham Branch. The Midvale Tramp ran cabooses into the early 1990s due to a long backup move from Lead Mine in Bingham Canyon down to a runaround track at Proler Steel. |
