Ascent of the Flatirons - In this view from nearly 2.5 miles away, the lights of a BNSF manifest train can been seen snaking from left to right through tunnels 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7, then swinging west to illuminate the face of tunnel 8 before disappearing from view on its climb toward the continental divide.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
