| A southbound loaded coal train traces the shoreline of Turnagain Arm. There are many off the road shots in Alaska of the line between Anchorage and Portage, this is not one of them. This shot represents a relatively short half mile hike through the trees and devils club. On the return to my truck I ran into another common element of hiking in Alaska a black bear. |
