Remarks & Notes
Fortescue Metals Group SD70ACe is the first EMD SD70ACe for the Australian Iron Ore hauler. The 701 is the only unit to have the special T155 marking on the left and right sides of the cab. The Australian SD70ACe units all feature the Tropical Roof detail to keep the cab interior as cool as possible. Other safety features include a dual set of front and side railing as well as kick plates. The FMG units have low nose headlights and red/ white marker lights on all four corners of the unit. This locomotive was proudly assembled and painted by the employees of Progress Rail Locomotive Assembly in Muncie, IN. Brass models of this locomotive will be offered by Overland Models Inc at www.overlandmodels.com.

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
