A fish-eye view out the cab window of SD40T-2 Tunnel Motor No. 5371 near Mounds, Utah, while westbound with the dirt train over the Sunnyside Branch on October 25, 2007. This was last “real” Rio Grande locomotive to operate on the Union Pacific system in its original number and was officially retired on December 5, 2008, and donated to the Utah State Railroad Museum in Ogden.
Generally speaking, shots where less than a full engine is shown. But I want to feature details, not half engines or full cabs, and definitely not full nose shots. Just shots where someone has zoomed in with purpose.
