| On a glorious September afternoon a recently re-painted DB 185 electric approaches Fluelen station beside the Vierwaldstattersee (Lake Lucerne) with a southbound freight train bound for Italy. From Erstfeld a second 185 will be attached to the front of the train and possibly one at the rear to bank the train up the north ramp of the Gotthard to the tunnel. |
