Remarks & Notes
The class 06 shunting locos were a fairly small class of 34 locos, and were found scattered all across Scotland. They were built by Andrew Barclay & Sons, and entered service at the end of the 1950s.Here is D2423 at Inverness in the summer of 1969.This loco was renumbered to 06006 and met its end at Dundee depot, when it was cut up in July 1983.

The worst of railroad design. Please, send me your entries / suggestions for the "Album of the ugly trains of the world" (past or present, paint scheme or shape).

Do you ever get the feeling as a model railroader, that you just might be creating something not "prototypical?" Same here.
