A well matched quartet of Utah Railway SD40s lead a Moapa, NV to Wildcat, UT coal empty east through Spanish Fork Canyon approaching the Thistle Tunnels. Note the former D&RGW grade and Highway 6 bracketing the Spanish Fork River below. Snowy Maple Mountain rises to 9088 ft. above sea level in the background.
