| Empties west.. Loads east.. Catching the late evening sun in the yard at Bluefield, NS' 100 ton former N&W sub-lettered hoppers still help move Southern West Virginia coal to and from its destination. Waiting for additional assembly in the yard, a loaded train of these near four decade old hoppers will move east overnight, likely for a destination of Lambert's Point. The empties will be shuffled around to the various load outs and branch lines that help build the Pocahontas Division. |
