Remarks & Notes
A lone GEVO leads CSX X797-26 through downtown Kent on a cloudy, crappy day. I missed a similar train about a week before this one, so I ventured out in the clouds to shoot it. The train consists of ex-Santa Fe GeeP's bound for Larry's truck & Electric in McDonald OH. Sadly this is almost definitely the last time any of these units will ever roll over the rails. Unless a few are lucky enough to be rebuilt, they will meet the scrapper's torch.

There are times when many engines, cars or cabooses are concentrated in a location. Such sites are for storage, economic reasons, active power needs or for rebuilding. For others, wear and tear have brought their usefulness to and end.
