While changing crews on a cold, rainy April 1984 night, an eastbound Union Pacific freight pauses in front of the Cheyenne, Wyoming, depot. The new crew is on, and very soon, the train will depart for a climb up Archer Hill and points east.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
