Three Through Sullivan's [Mayan Apocalypse Study 2012] - Back on June 21, 2012, the Summer Solstice, I shot a number of long exposures in the dark at Sullivan's Curve. After working up those images, I noticed a number of deficiencies and decided that I would re-shoot from this position at some point. Little did I know when I started this 15 minute exposure that three different trains from two different railroads would pass on the tracks before my camera. The red light on the right is from a set of signals just out of the frame that are lit due to the northbound UP train traveling up the Palmdale Cutoff.
