| Oh deer! As Q62007 approached at the 25 mph track speed, a group of 6-7 deer decided that now was the perfect time to run from the adjacent field across the tracks into the woods. The one on the right didn't quite make it across unscathed as it was collected by the plow, although remarkably it was just pushed off to the side and managed to scamper away seemingly unharmed. Regrettably I turned away expecting blood and guts and didn't capture the rather comical sight of the deer's short ride along on the plow, a lucky escape indeed if it did come away without serious injury. |
